Private Yoga Sessions in Austin for modern women

City of yogis

Austin has long been known as a safe-haven for the free-spirits and seekers of the great state of Texas. The natural beauty of Austin’s creeks, rivers, and rolling green hills, plus the rich music and arts culture give Austin a magnetism that has been pulling more and more spiritually-minded people in from all over.

Yoga Journal recently placed Austin in the top 5 yoga towns in America. Austin has earned this ranking with its wide variety of studios and teachers—all of which are of outstanding quality. Part of the reason I chose to move to Austin was because I knew that I wanted yoga to be at the center of my life and career, and I knew this city would be a supportive home for that vision.

The top 3 reasons I love practicing yoga in Austin:

  1. Inclusivity

A yoga practice is open and accessible to anyone here thanks to donation-based studios like Black Swan Yoga and Practice Yoga, and the overall kind and accepting demeanor of Austin yogis.

  2. Variety

Yoga means something different to everyone. Some come to their mat for peace of mind; others come for a solid workout, increased flexibility, or community connection. In Austin, there’s a niche studio for everyone.

  3. Outdoor Accessibility

The sun, sky, earth, and a breath of fresh air are all major contributions to my personal yoga practice. I love flowing outdoors and Austin gives me ample opportunity to do so. From the abundant open green spaces like Zilker Park, or Barton Springs, to studios with outdoor classes like Wild Heart Yoga or YTX, it’s easy for me to do yoga outdoors.

I love my work as an Austin Private Yoga Instructor because many know the value of living a healthy lifestyle. In 1:1 private yoga sessions in Austin, we get to do a much deeper dive than is possible in group classes. Each session is a totally customized experience with the goals, needs, and desires of my client's priorities. With individualized attention, there is less risk of injury and more space for open communication.
